Your style guide to summer

It’s a completely different post to go into talking about fashion trends for summer, here I’m just going to talk about style. Great clothes, well fitting, comfortable and most of all, stylish.

I can’t wait for summer, it’s an excuse to sit outside, drink beer and dress in bright colours. Although with the British weather I’m not sure you’ll always want to be out in a bandeau top without something to keep you warm should the temperature drop or the sun go in.

So I bring you women’s jackets…

The first jacket is wonderfully nautical and great transitional wear for when the weather is a little bit chilly. Throw it on over a floral dress or smarten up a pair of jeans with it for a night out.

The second is an all round amazing mac, it’s simple an can be worn with anything. Light enough to be worn on cold spring evening but would easily do you in the winter with a scarf and gloves.

Women’s shirts make a great addition to any summer wardrobe, they are great for covering up after a day in the sun and they are great for spring layering. Wear bright colours over white tank tops or add a splash of jewellery for an elegant evening outfit.

Dresses and skirts will certainly be a staple of my spring/summer wardrobe. Floral dresses are big this season, during spring team them with blazers and cardigans. During the summer get some sun on your arms, bare your legs and throw on some flip flops (don’t forget suncream).
