Top picks from the sales

Because I’m not allowed to buy anything (self imposed rule) I thought I’d share all the pretty things from the sales with you lot so you can buy it all!

Dorothy Perkins

ruffle, romantic, jacketdressing gown, sleepwear, leopard print

The little ruffle jacket would be perfect for SS layering, especially with all those pretty new florals. The leopard dressing gown should be in my collection. I love lounge/sleepwear, I rarely wear ‘real’ clothes in the house. It’s all pyjamas and dressing gowns for me!

tall, purple, colour blocking, dress70's, retro, vintage, tunic

I want to wear that purple dress with turquoise tights and big chunky turquoise jewellery. Colour blocking for the win. The 70’s style tunic is a perfect transitional piece. Long sleeves for nippy spring nights and also versatile enough to wear with tights or jeans.

River Island

peacock, dress, cocktail, promstatment, feathers, dress

Two rather unusual dresses from River Island but enchanting nonetheless. Wear both with killer heels and glitter.

shoe, boot, stud, platformcolour block, shoe, heel purple

I almost bought those shoeboots a while back, instead opting for higher, more clog-like boots. I almost bought both but at the time couldn’t justify £150 on shoes. However, now that those beauties are down to £35 I’m very, very tempted. The block colour sandals would look great as a statement shoe but also great with colourful tights. And I bet they’re super easy to walk in.

floral, maxi, dresslace, nude, bow

That maxi dress is perfect for summer, a sexy floral print and the halter neck is especially flattering. The lace Club L dress is bang on trend for spring. Lacy, girly and beautiful. I love the bow detailing!

I think it’s the braces on those trousers that make me swoon. They’re boyish, smart and amazingly tailored. I also love those boots, mainly because of the distressed look and fur, very rock ‘n’ roll.
