The velvet trend for AW10

This takes me back to the 90s when I had a silver crushed velvet t-shirt. The hem always rolled up, it was horrible. I can’t believe it’s back and I’m not sure I’d be able to wear it. But I’ve picked out a few pieces from this trend from ASOS.com.

Vila velvet dress with ruched sleeve detail – £40

I love this dress. It could simply be worn with a pair of nice heels. A simple, very on-trend outfit.

Rützou Biker Jacket in Velvet - £235

I want this. I can see it being worn with bootcut jeans and biker boots. Or over a really floaty floral dress with Dr Martens.

Pa:nuu velvet leggings – £30

This is probably a more simple way to wear the velvet trend. As you can see on the model, wear with a colourful tunic and some black wedges. (Try the Jeffrey Campbell Pixie boot.)
