This dress is from Monsoon and I love it. What a colour!

Here is me in my Vivienne of Holloway dress, spotty, 50s dress. Gorgeous. Next to me is my Mum on the right is my Brother.

I don’t have the self taking, iphone, camera skills to get a picture of my outfit today so you’ll have to deal with tights and shoes.

Somewhat blurry but I wanted you to see my tights. About three months ago these tights didn’t fit and I could not get them past my thighs. I found this odd because they are the exact shape, size and make as my favourite black footless tights, but anyways, they now fit and that makes me so, so happy.

I’m all highstreet today.

So, lunch break. I went off with Embo (she’ll be doing the guest Face Art post in a week or so) we had some lunch then headed to Bank because she’d seen a lovely sequined dress in there. After deciding that £50 was too much to spend on a dress we took a peek at the sale rail. Embo found a gorgeous pink and black dress, as a sexy size 12 lady you’d think a medium would be the correct size.

We got into the changing room and I stood outside Embo’s room whilst she got changed. I then hear “Jeeeesss,” I turn away from the very flattering full lenth mirror and presume Embo needs me to do the zip up on the dress. I open the curtain only to be confronted with Embo with the dress on her shoulders. I try and help her get it past her epic boobs but to no avail! We then decide that she should step into it. It took us a fair while to get it back over those boobs.

In the end Embo decided that she may not have been destined to the last £20 pink dress in a Medium. Instead she opted for the, nicer in my opinion, dress below.

I’ve asked her for pictures and will no doubt be allowed to post them when I get them!

I haven’t really been losing the weight at the rate I intended. For those of you that followed the old blog you’ll know that I had some terribly heavy weekends which just equalled fail. So I’ve decided to update my goals and I intend to stick with them this time (yeah, right I hear you all say) I will update weekly with a goals post. But here we go for now…

Lose 7lbs by 1st October
Start – 224, Current – 223, Goal – 217
6lbs to go

Lose 1 stone by 2nd November (My Birthday)
Start – 224, Current – 223, Goal – 211
13lbs to go

Be a dress size 16 by November 2nd

54lbs to go (That’s almost 4 stone!)

So I have four goals, I like goals, they make me happy. For my birthday, my 21st I am going out for Halloween for a meal with the family, I am uber excited and cannot bloody wait! For the halloween thing I’m thinking either 50s pinup which means buying some sort of awesome dress. Or going all burlesque. I’m not sure how I’d pull off the burlesque look, definitely a corset (obviously I’d have to buy a new one of these,) but I’m not walking around in stockings and suspenders. I must research ways of pulling off the burlesque look whilst wearing a skirt or trousers!
