[Sponsored Video] Moroccanoil’s #Inspiredbywomen campaign

Moroccanoil has released a series of videos all about women who are doing amazing things around the world. Whether it’s women who are campaigning for body positivity, charity workers or anyone who is empowering women.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is Moroccanoil’s ambassador and she’s working with all sorts of inspirational women who are doing great things around the world. As part of this campaign she talks about how she wants to do something amazing and just being around these inspirational women gives her the chance to be part of something bigger.

What do you find inspirational in other women? For me it’s a drive and determination in whatever they’re doing. They might be working for to betterment of others or they might be following a lifelong dream. I appreciate people who can identify what they want and go and get it. Too many people hover around in that safe zone, never quite going for what they want. I want to encourage people to break out of that, if you want to do something, do it.

One of the women in the series of videos is Chrissy Beckles. She’s a boxer and she rescues dogs too. You’ll see from her video the sheer love and fight within her. She rescues dog from a part of Puerto Rico the locals call ‘dead dog beach’. It’s a dumping ground for injured and abandoned dogs and Chrissy has taken it upon herself to fight in theĀ dogs’ corner. So far, Chrissy has saved more than 1000 dogs.

Another of the women in these videos is Allyson Ahlstrom, who set up Threads for Teens, a charity that gives brand new donated clothes to teens from tough backgrounds. Her story is one of taking her passion and doing something amazing with it. She’s giving confidence to young women and doing it through fashion.

In her video Allyson says: “When we put on clothes we like, we feel good. When we put on an outfit we love, we feel empowered.” I can relate to that and giving everyone the chance to feel that way is so important.
