Running

Despite feeling awful during Sunday I decided to go out for a run at 8am Sunday morning. The skies were grey with the sun desperately trying to push through the clouds and the ground was frozen.

My normal run takes me up and down streets in Norwich full of terraced houses, the pavement is hard on my knees and ankle plus it isn’t the most exciting of setting.

Saturday night I stayed over at my parent’s house in Mundesley, North Norfolk. A little village where I grew up. My 1.5 mile run took me up and down dirt tracks across fields, through a park and past a duck pond. It was a beautiful, inspiring run.

It took make just over 30 minutes because my walk/run intervals were peppered with stopping to take pictures.

I ache today, all down the back of my legs and my calf muscles. However, joints are less painful. I will run on grass again!
