I’ve been thinking about this hairstyle for a while now. I saw a girl in Turkey with something similar but she was working with Thomas Cook and they wouldn’t allow it (yet they encouraged drinking, sexual innuendo and promiscuous sex – double standards, TC, double standards).
Anyway, after a short Twitter conversation with Hooloovoo hairdressers on Twitter, I popped in the same day to get my hair done. Because it was such an unusual style, I was a little nervous but after a consultation with Layla, one of the stylists, I was confident she was going to do the style justice. And she did. Not only did the cut go smoothly but she also styled it and my hair looked the best it ever has!
I wish I’d got more photos of her it looked post-cut. You can see a few on my Instagram.
I’d mentioned to my mum that I was getting this style and she wasn’t keen. When I turned up to her’s the following day, it look her a while to notice but the general consensus was that my hair is awesome. We then all hopped in the hot tub with out drinks and I put my hair up.
This photo freaked a lot of people out, thinking I’d cut all my hair off. I could pull it off, I think. If I ever went on Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model, make over week would have nothing on me.
