I’ve wanted some Jeffrey Campbell wedges for a long time so when Zalando offered to send me something from their site to review, I jumped at the chance to get some more JCs! I went for the Jeffrey Campbell Damsel boots and I think I’m in love now.
I’m obsessed with this brand. I now have four pairs of Jeffrey Campbell shoes and they look absolutely wonderful in my shoe shelf. The Jeffrey Campbell Damsel boots are just as crazy as you might imagine. They’re bigger in real life than they look online.
I went outside to take some pictures (although none made the final cut). Our garden is really uneven and I almost broke my ankle. So, despite the fact that the boots are easy for walking around the house in, they’re not for wonky ground. I’m a bit sore now but I continued with the photo shoot regardless.
What I’m wearing: Jeffrey Campbell Damsel boots c/o Zalando | Lace dress: ASOS | Belt: ASOS | Lion necklace: H&M | Aztec necklace: eBay | Various bangles including GOGO Philip and Topman
Make-up used: NARS green glitter eyeshadow | Limecrime Lipstick | Japonesque eyebrow palette | Collection 2000 eyeliner | Benefit blusher | OPI green nail polish
The pink dress had recently arrived from ASOS so I thought I’d pair it with the Jeffrey Campbell wedges along with loads of gold jewellery.
The boots are beautiful and they are the most amazing looking pair of shoes I own. They are easy to walk in if the ground is flat but as soon as there’s any unevenness, I get really wobbly. I’d never be able to walk up and down the streets of Norwich in them. They’re probably a put-on-in-a-club type of shoes for me. I always take back up shoes with me when I wear heels out anyway.
