There’s more to Crocs than you might think

30 Mar

We all think of one type of shoe when it comes to Crocs. They might be comfortable plastic shoes but they aren’t the prettiest. It’s a shame that these shoes is all the brand is known for because they do some great stuff. Their range is peppered with plastic, bright colours and odd shapes but it’s much, much more than those plastic slip ons.

Crocs Hanalei £35.20

I really like these. They are simple, look like they have great grip and most of all they look comfortable.

Crocstone Flip £35

These look like some seriously comfortable flip flops.

Crocs Nadia £42.40

These are crocs for winter. Furry and warm but with all the well-loved plastic you can get. Maybe for the braver stylistas out there, but cool and unique nonetheless.

Crocs Berryessa £52.80

Now, I’ve saved the best for last. These are amazing! Again, simple, beautiful and they look wonderfully comfortable. There seems to be a good amount of grip on the bottom and they have a nice thick sole.

Vintage wonder in Norwich

29 Mar

A few weeks ago Ben and I went to The Vintage Fair in Norwich. It was great, full of beautiful people, colourful clothes, fur, jewellery, hats and shiny things.

I should’ve bought this dress. I never thought I’d be able to find so many vintage pieces in my size.

Not sure what this was referring to but it made us think of Lost.

I must’ve tried on every hat in that place. The conclusion: I have a massive head (possibly too much hair).

New arrivals at Spartoo

I’ve been on a bit of a shopping sabbatical recently, saving for a house is taking its toll. So I’ve been doing a bit of window shopping. The sensible place to start would be by showing you some shoes.

Summer is almost here, it’s swimwear buying time!

10 Mar

Last summer I was slightly fatter than I am now, that’s not to say I’m going to be swanning around in a bikini as soon as it gets hot (ew) but I might bare some skin. However, there is the practical side to this, I don’t have a swimming costume. So, while looking for pretty swimwear for myself as a curvy lady who doesn’t want to show off her stomach, I’m also going to include bikinis for you lot with hot beach bodies!

That first bikini is very cute and 50′s. I’d love to see something like this with a high-waisted brief. For ladies with big boobs it looks very supportive. And for ladies without big boobs, it’s padded! The second has a very James Bond feel to it (yes, even with the animals in the background).  It’s quite classy, as bikinis go.

The first is simple, slimming and the halterneck makes boobs look great. The second is the proof that swimming costumes don’t have to be only for the bikini fearful. They can be just as – actually I think more – sexy as bikinis. The low plunge and general mermaidyness of the one above is proof of that.
